Today it was a joy to preach at Tigoni Baptist Church. Tigoni was planted by Southern Baptist missionaries in 1964. I remember we first visited Tigoni in 1987. At that time they were in their original building.
The people there have remained faithful and have built a new building as they have grown.
The man who translated for me ,as I preached, used help to teach Southern Baptist missionaries Swahili. He has since been trained by a southern Baptist physician and he now runs a small clinic for people who cannot afford medical care. He is also a deacon in the church.
Your faithful giving helped this church (and many others) begin and grow.
