Thankfully, I slept well my first night in Kenya. I had a good walk this morning and took this picture of the pond below the school. The water was peaceful and the beauty and aroma from the roses was wonderful. Later on in the day a church had a baptism in that pond. I heard the voices of God’s people rejoicing and it made my heart glad.
I was reminded of what Paul wrote: Ephesians 5:1-2 (NKJV)
1 Therefore be imitators of God as dear children. 2 And walk in love, as Christ also has loved us and given Himself for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet-smelling aroma.
