I spent my first full day in Kenya. I got in very late and slept about 4-5 hours. I was up by 6, took a long exercise walk and checked in on a friend named Baraka. The word Baraka means “blessing” and it was a blessing to visit with him again.
My walk also took me by Brown’s dairy farm and I took this picture of their sign. . Their specialty is cheese. I was able to go to the store later on in the day and I bought some of their cheese. It is great.!
I visited the school and got to see many of the staff and faculty. I also got to greet a class of students who are preparing to be Chaplains. There are about 20 in that class.
I have been working the rest of the day getting unpacked and preparing for a sermon I will be sharing Sunday at Tigoni Baptist.
Please pray I will sleep well tonight. Also please pray for my cousin Bill as his wife has died of cancer.
Thank you so much for your prayers and support
