Today we pray for and thank God for our veterans.
On my way to Kenya I had a layover in the Paris airport. I met a man there that grew up near Normandy Beach. I told him about my father,
Charles E. Brown and how he landed on Normandy beach on the second day of “D-Day” and was a part of the reconnaissance effort. (I have attached a picture of my dad in uniform)
I was pleased to hear the French man giving thanks for those, like my father, who risked their lives to help free France.
I think we can all join our voices with his and say “thank you veterans”!
